This stand is definitely all the advertisement says it is . It is very heavy duty for the cost which makes it an excellent value. Rolling it around is very nice on hard flooring but more difficult on carpet, not a deal breaker by any means, maneuverability is still decent you just need to use both hands in positioning. The stand itself is awesome, but my biggest complaint is the case that is supplied with the kit, the pockets are too small to fit the pieces. You cannot store the main stand section with the wheels attached which means you have to take them on and off every time you store the stand; that is kind off a pain because there are little inserts which I foresee as being easily lost. the boom section has very nice levers for tightening but to store this section you have to remove the levers which once again there are washers and pieces which potentially could get lost. If the bag just had two large sections instead of three smaller sections I would have given the whole package the highest rating of 5 stars. My idea of being portable is to quickly be able to set up and tear down and know you won't be losing stuff during setup and teardown. The stand is awesome but the bag is a major fail

Take the effort out of positioning an overhead light with this extra-tall rolling stand with boom arm. The four-section stand extends 13 feet, and the two-section boom arm extends from 42" to 80", with a 5/8" top mount. The arm comes with a 5-lb. adjustable counterweight. Supports 5 lbs. Stand and arm have black anodized finish to prevent unwanted reflections. Everything can be transported in the supplied heavy weight nylon carrying pouch
