Sturdy

Heavy Constructed for a more stable Platform, is what's needed for Videoagraphy and Photography.

herky jerky

Nice sturdy construction and it's plenty strong and stable. It pans alright but the vertical motion is very jerky and sticky making using high power spotting scopes quite unpleasant. I paid over a $100 bucks and you'd think this would be enough to get that problem ironed out. I cannot recommend this tripod and won't by Smith Vector again.
