The Samyang SY300M-N Reflex 300mm F6.3 ED UMC CS Mirror Lens for Sony Alpha Cameras is a new compact reflex mirror lens dedicated for mirror less compact system cameras, with native fit mounts for Nikon F.

The Samyang 300mm is aesthetically designed and a compact lens for ease of carrying and use. The optical structure contains 9 elements arranged in 6 groups, including one ED-type lens to provide high contrast and reducing chromatic aberration. UMC Multicoated optics help reduce ghosting and flare.

Its a very compact design with dimensions of 73.7 x 64.5 mm and weighing approximately 320g, makes it ideal for a long telephoto lens for compact system / interchangeable mirror less cameras.

The Samyang 300mm f/6.3 ED UMC CS Reflex Mirror Lens is a manual lens with smooth manual focusing. Due to the very narrow depth of field with such a long focal length it is recommended to focus with live-view to achieve accurate focus where possible. As with all long telephoto lenses a combination of sturdy camera support / substantial tripod, good technique, fast shutter speed and use of remote / mirror lock up is recommended to avoid camera shake to achieve the best results. Accepts filters of diameter 58mm front, or 25.5mm (rear).
