About Speedotron 1005CC 2 Head Outfit

The Speedotron 1005CC Economy Location Flash System is an ideal entry into Black Line for the location portrait photographer. The Black Line 1005 Power Supply coupled with the compact 103 Color Corrected Light Units accept the full complement of light control accessories. It includes 1005 power pack, 2 compact 103 flash heads, 2 7.5' light stands, 2 umbrellas for softening light and a padded travel case to protect your investment.

The rugged 1000 w/s power pack is sealed in a dust-proof housing and can be dialed down from 1000 w/s to 44 w/s (22 w/s using two heads). You can make subtle lighting changes fast, with light variability in 1/4 f-stop stages. Two flash heads operate symmetrically or asymmetrically, giving you plenty of choices on location or in the studio, with a recycling time of 1.75 seconds at full power.

The flashtubes are color corrected for a slightly warmer hue. The modeling lights can be set to reflect the lighting ratio of the lamphead or set to full output for critical focusing. The Speedotron 1005CC Location Kit can be used with all Speedotron Black Line reflectors and other light-shaping tools.

Questions about this item:

JOE L  How do speedatron black line compare to dynalites ?
MARK V  I would skip both and go with an einstine set you can pick each head up for 530 ish and a powerpack for200 so 730 per unit the get the cyber commander 190 and your done. This is the best out now and produces amazing control over your lighting without having to connect multiple lights to one cap box. Also, its cheaper in the long run. The triggers are radio triggers. The cyber commander allows you to control each light up to 16 also comes with a light meter all at the control from your camera. I have the ranger set and am extremly disapointed in it . In adition power distribution to each light can be tricky with the cap box systems especaily when neading multiple lights. That also holds you to a studio indoors. Dynalights are very good systems but Iwould recomend going with the einstiens from pual c buff . I have had the fortune to use everything from elenchrome to bowens to quantum. And personaly own axset from each. Sorry for typing errors replying by phone. Good luck keep shooting
