Good Value

This scope is not as good as the Tasco with the 80mm objective lens ,but is smaller, lighter and easier to transport. This scope gives nice clear views at the 20 to 40 power range.

Decent Product for the Price

I have used this a couple of times at the range (100 yds) and have found it to be helpful. I'm a novice and have never owned a spotting scope before. It does the job at a reasonable price. I have it mounted on the bench and have to admit that when I am trying to pick up my shot, the tripod seems wobbly as I am trying to focus. I just work my way through it.

Shopper  How well did it work? Were you happy with it?
STEVE M  The Amarillo Shooting Complex purchased 10 of these units last year for loan to our long range shooters at the range. They get a lot of use throughout the year. The scope's have functioned flawlessly with no repairs needed. The tripod's are made of aluminum and have held up well in the last year. The mounts are made of plastic and do not hold up as well under repeated use and adjustment. We've taken three of the ten units off line, merely due to failure of the mount itself. The carrying case makes this a winner in that they offer superior protection over a soft side case. We normally have 20 units on line at any given time, and average 6000 visitors a year. For the money and under normal use I'd recommend the unit to anyone.
