Teradek Case, Video Assist System in a Box with Single Cube-155 Transmitter

The combination of small size, low power and versatility in a single, well-designed system makes for a powerful and elegant wireless VTR system. The Teradek Cube is pre-configured to automatically begin recording a proxy file the moment record is pressed on the camera. An instant daily is created when recording is started in real-time on the Mac Mini server in the ubiquitous .MOV or .MP4 formats. The recorded file will be identical in name, start and stop times and time code as the original file still on the camera's storage. It will also be available for immediate review on any LivePlay equipped iPad on set. LivePlay users are able to add comments with a simple touch of a button in completely customizable data fields with managed user privileges and reporting.

The Case takes the power and performance of Teradek's Cube to new levels of convenience. This turnkey video-assist system provides everything you need for wireless proxy recording, remote analysis over the Internet and video monitoring on iPad and field monitors. Cube alone can transmit 1080p HD video up to 300ft, but with Case the range is increased to 1000ft. Case elegantly packs all of its components into an unbreakable waterproof Pelican case with vibration dampened shock mounts holding custom aircraft grade aluminum mounting hardware and cheeseplates.

The Teradek Cube 155 HD-SDI Single Encoder with Wi-Fi is a wireless camera-top video and embedded audio encoder. It connects to a camera by SDI and streams proxy files/dailies in H.264 to a decoder or website. You can stream by dual-band Wi-Fi wherever a network is available, by Ethernet via an optional router, or by optional 3G/4G modem connection otherwise. You can also store the files to a MicroSD card as the Cube features a MicroSD slot with support for 32GB cards.
