The N2200XXX Soho/Home 2-Bay NAS Server from Thecus is a small but powerful server storage solution for your home or small office network. While no hard disk drives are included with the server, it can hold two SATA I/ II 3.5" or 2.5" hard disk drives. With your drives installed, you have the option to format them in a RAID 0 or 1 configuration that can be encrypted, or as a JBOD. So as to transfer data quickly, the server utilizes an Intel ATOM D525 Processor and 1GB of DDR3 SDRAM.

In addition and to the same end, the server is capable of utilizing the iSCSI protocol. You can also more efficiently allocate storage space with the iSCSI thin-provisioning.
