I've had good experience with Tripp Lite products in the past, and this one has a good configuration for our setup behind a TV stand. F connectors feel solid, and I've experienced no noticeable loss in signal strength running my coax connections through this unit.

Love the black color to boot! I have more than 20 Tripp Lite products...this must say something! Trusted quality and reliability. Just wish a screw was used to secure the unit to the main outlet. I've used Velcro strips to make sure the connection is solid.

This unit has enough outlets to support a home TV area as well as provides cable line protection and phone as well. I have other Tripp Lite products and this one is also of good quality and works well. Hope that the surge protection is never needed, but this unit makes for good insurance.

Like that you can angle the plugs as you need, good price. You really won't know if it works until it gets hit with a power surge, it does warranty the things plugged into it.

I use this protector for my wall mounted Smart TV. It is narrow enough to fit behind the mount and not interfere with the mounting hardware. This was bought to be used behind a night stand where there is very little room and multiple items to be plugged in. The swivel feature allows the nightstand to sit closer to the wall which was my objective. The fact that it is also a surge protector is a bonus!

I use this behind my work bench and desk. The swivel connection allows plugs to be flush to the wall and allows me to press the furniture closer to the wall.

At first it may seem a bit bulky, but then most direct plug-in outlet surge protectors are though usually keep within a general size across the board, however this unit features something most other units do not - a swivel option to make cord organization a bit easier for multiple devices. The amount of protection is higher than most of the plug-in wall units I'd found and came highly rated from general reviews that drew me to do additional research. I first purchased one for myself to better organize and protect my small personal media center at home after hours of research and comparison of other vendor products. I'd recently been disappointed with another company that was highly recommended to me by another computer tech and found it not able to hold up to the company's specs claim or the other individual's recommendation. My father was impressed with the specs of this unit, and he's a difficult person to please, so I ordered two more for him. I would definitely love to find a similar unit like this that features an Ethernet protection instead of the Tel/Modem connection. Then it would the be the most ideal and compact surge protector! The unit I purchased even came with a Coax and Tel/Modem cable for set up - it was a welcome surprise as this was an option I didn't notice when first looking at the unit for my purchase.

Purchased this and other Tripp-Lite products in the last year. I moved to FL in April 2014 and in May the house took a lightning strike. Lost a big screen, printer, cable modem, NIC card in Desktop. Have had no strikes since. Will see how the Tripp-Lite products work when/if another bolt strikes.

This is just what I was looking for. I need an outlet (with a surge protector) which allows me to power several devices in a cramped space. This gives me the flexibility to power devices to the left and right of my outlet. The 1200J protection is an added bonus as I attach my cable modem for strategic wi-fi setup. Happy to find this and that it works so well.

I've been using it over a year now with zero problems. It had all the sockets my home theatre needed while taking up very little space. If it had a power button it would be perfect, but still, it's a great surge protector.

Hard to say how well this will work - it's rather like proving a negative (it will only be evident if it doesn't work). That said, it is a solid, heavy unit, looks like it should do the job. It does have a minor rattle inside, which I hope is of no significance, but since I was looking for a wall mount surge suppressor with coax connections and could not find one locally, I'm pleased.

Securely plugs into a standard double outlet.....perhaps 150% the size of a standard outlet cover plate? Does not stick out too far. Provided some emi/rfi reduction on my coaxial antenna input.

Florida is lightning capital - so far I've lost a 300 cd player and an expensive dvd player recorder. My electric company recommended this HTSWIVEL6 - if they rate it top then I'm going to trust they know which product is best for here.
