I lost my lens hood some years ago and finally bought this one to replace it. It is a high quality original part that fits and functions accordingly. I'm very pleased with the product but the $ price tag for a lens hood is a bit hard to stomach, which is why I put it off for so long. However, for outdoor shooting it does make a noticeable difference which motivated my purchase. Shipping was quick and affordable and on the whole I'm pleased.
