Nice solar filter

This is a very good product. Fit was perfect on my Celestron C5 spotting scope. No worries about it coming off while in use. Nice snug fit but not so tight that you would scratch you scope putting it on or taking it off. No padding was required. Does not come with a set screw like some models but it was not needed. Only thing I wished It would have had was some type of case for storage. Overall though I am very pleased with the product and purchase.

Brilliant

Very simple to mount, you fit the velcro along the inter ring of the filter, stick some velcro on your scope, then slip it on. I drape a towel over my scope to cover the finderscope and to stop the scope from heating up to much. I've used it 5+ times (would use it much more if the weather would cooperate.) but haven't seen any sunspots due to the current solar cycle. However, you can see granulation, and near the limb there is a wavy heat effect. I am looking forward to the move toward solar maximum (and summer!) so I can see some sunspots.
