Shopper  How well does this fit a Celestron 8" schmidt cassegrain Edge Telescope?
DENNIS N  I have a Celestron Model C8-SGT. The filter is a nice fit over the front of the optical tube assembly. It has an inside diameter of approximately 9 3/8 inches. I use masking tape to keep it in place while viewing the Sun. If it were to fall off the results would be a disaster!
