This ultrabook is all about being thin, and the quality suffers. The keyboard is flashy looking but not enjoyable for prolonged use. The speakers are worthless and headphones are required. When using the speakers at any normal level, the system's internal components are likely to vibrate and ruin any sound quality that may have existed. I managed to quell that a bit by doing some surgery but it still happens from time to time. Speaking of surgery, the bottom panels are made out of crumbly plastic that will break if removed more than a couple of times, and are flimsy enough to lead to some of said vibration. The battery dies a lot quicker than expected or desired, even under light use, or during windows 8's version of "off." The size and overall ability to run windows and a browser make it okay to hang around for a video chat or a quick edit to a document, but there computers for lower prices that have more lasting value. Don't give this one a second look.

I'm a newbie into the world of online marketing and blogging. Please keep in mind I have limited computing background experience outside of work which was repetitive and I thought easy. My daughter uses for school, social media, utube, etc. and she love love loves this computer. Pros: Fast, lightweight, keyboard touch is nice Cons: Frustrating keyboard, it keeps randomly jumping around on the text I type. I haven't done much research and I'm hoping theree is an easy fix. Windows 8, well that's a whole different animal. My daughter gets it. I don't but she seems to think it's pretty intuitive, I don't but I'm old and it's hard to think outside the box. I'll do some tutorials and get the hand of it eventually. I purchased an external disc drive. Also 2tb of external Toshiba storage to keep it fast. I would recommend this computer!
