Good for the price

I am using this lightweight tripod for my Nikon 5100 with 18-105 lens. My camera with lens is heavy but the tripod is good to support.

I would buy this product again

from Wilmington, Delaware  -  Tech Savvy

This is a convenient light weight tripod for that time when you find that unexpected opportunity for great shot. I have mine in the car trunk.

very light but head very platicky

from san francisco

it does the job but plastic head is really cheap and leg is really thin,i handle it with the fear of breaking it each time i use it. i tried in shop the sunpack 5858d, it felt much more sturdy for a weight and folded length that's almost similar.

Worst Tripod Ever

from Whittier, CA  -  Pro Photographer

I bought a bunch of these tripods when they were on sale and thank goodness I didn't spend a lot on them, because they only last a few times. I have had several break, mainly the head just snaps off. Cheaply made and not durable at all! Totally disappointed in this product.

Valued and extremely light weight tripod

from Roseville, CA  -  Photo Enthusiast

I use the product for travel, using both for my camcorder and full frame camera. I also use it as a monopod as it is so light. The head is strong enough for use even though I have to be extremely careful with my full frame camera and pro mid range zoom. Completely worry free with consumer camcorder, using both as monopod and tripod. It is so cheap that you can think of it as disposable. It even come with a good carrying pouch. Strongly recommended as a cheap, light weight and sturdy enough for most usage.

good for travel

from Hillsboro, OR  -  Semi-pro Photographer

Bought this for travel and stuck it in my check-in luggage. The cost was so low that if it was stolen it wouldn't be a big deal. It is very light and has a travel case. I used it a few times and it held my Nikon DF and 28-300 lens easily, although I wouldn't walk away and leave it unattended.

Just what I was looking for.

from Santa Ana, Calif  -  Casual Photographer

I do alot of hiking and needed a lightweight compact tripod to put in day pack for my Fujifilm S4800 bridge type camera. Just got this camera fits sturdy on mount. I am only 5'3 so height is fine. I would not put heavy camera with long lens on this but that is not what I have. For an inexpensive tripod it looks good. Comes with a nice bag and it fits in my pack perfectly.

For the Price you can not lose !

from PA  -  Pro Photographer

This was a better product then I expected.I use it with my Canon Powershot SX260HS. First use was Fireworks worked very good. I bought it to use with my pocket Camera for ease of carry. For fun shooting I us the lighter gear and use my D200 and big lens with heavy tripod for serious work. For what I bought it for it was a great buy! Iam a retired Photographer who still loves to take pictures.
