Adorama 30" Deluxe Case vs Domke F-432

When I bought this Adorama 30" deluxe padded tripod case at the same time I also bought the Domke F-432 30" Tripod Case. I wound up putting my expensive tripod in the Adorama case even though it was supposedly smaller. It seems like the 32" Domke is smaller than the 30" Flashpoint. The Flashpoint is cheaper too and it WAS padded. Sorry to pan Domke. They never said it was padded. But all it was was a piece of material with a zipper in it. Good material though. Great deal, but no padding

The case is a great deal, but it provides virtually no protection. There is no padding on the case at all so if you were to drop it, your tripod could still be damaged. The case is basically like a duffle bag in the shape of a tripod. If I were you, I would save your money and purchase a case that actually has padding and would actually protect your tripod if you were to drop it.

Excellent - Great Bargain

By

from Ormond Beach, FL

This tripod case is really a great bargain. I am using it for a tripod and ball head that measures 27" folded and is about 6" at it widest point. Having a full length zipper makes it easy to get the tripod in and out quickly and easily. There is a zippered pocket on the outside and another inside. Both are big enough to easily hold a map. The bag is lightly padded which is exactly what I was looking for. It comes with a shoulder strap. Highly recommend.

Item came with 2 tripods. Item is not what is pictured. Bag is lightly padded, will only provide minimum protection,no shoulder strap.

Great bag with extra zipper pockets

By

from Rochester New York  -  Pro Photographer

I use this to protect my video tripod. Convenient strap for carrying over the shoulder. And zipper pockets are good for putting accessories. Just the right size for my tripod. I feel it is well protected when banging around in the trunk of the car. Quality was surprisingly good. Very reasonable price.

Nice bag

The price was right and it does a nice job of keeping my tripod junk in one place. It appears to be durable and well made.

Seems good

By

I bought this to hold two Adorama lightstands that are about this size. They both fit in well, and the bag seems good. I haven't used it at a job yet, but it looks like a good choice.

GEORGE C  Yes, there is a shoulder strap. However, I abandoned this case within a few weeks of receiving it when the zipper failed. Not worth the money.
