Handy on photowalks.

My niece used this on her trip to Germany and got some great results taking portrait pictures of herself and her girlfriend. The magnetic feet give it significant options to use on things like mail boxes and things to big to wrap the legs around. Only problem is if you have to use it on a camera with a off-set mounting hole. When you set it up in a standard tripod mode the camera will sag (the heavier camera the quicker the sag). This can be compensated by getting to know your set up and give the camera some "up" sag so the resulting sag goes to an level position. Don't let this Con deter you from the purchase as it just requires some "learning" on your part. The main thing is get the shot. Make sure you get the ball head too.

Very handy and easy to have with you. The magnets are very strong and I had no fears they would hold my little camera.

[...] With the magnetic feet if it is metal this will hold the camera where you want it.
