A must for tethered shooting

Intended use is for tethered shooting. Got the idea from an Adorama TV video on creating an automated photo booth using Lightroom. I am planning a similar setup at a wedding. The cable is sturdy and well made with sufficent length.

Great for tethering my Mark II to Lightroom. Bright color makes it easy to spot for my fellow clumbsies.

A Must Have for Tethering Images

from charlotte, NC  -  Quality Oriented

This cable gives me the needed connection for tethering my images from the camera to Lightroom4 for an instant review. The 15' length keeps my setup unrestrictive now - with my previous cable I had to work tight with everything seemingly on top of each other. Good value, good quality. I would recommend this to anyone who needs versatility.

The 15ft length is perfect for my small studio. Still have plenty of slack to move about while shooting.

Questions about this item:

Sam C  I wonder this cable will work w/my Nikon D700 and D3s ?
debra d  i looking for a usb cable to go into my computer to my archos 101 internet tablet it want come off of recovery and i dont know what do can you help me
sokpagna c  Will this cable work with Nikon D7000 and on a Windows7?
Crystal V  I am sure it will work with your D7000 - I saw it used with a D4 at a conference, and I have a D70. Windows 7 is not really relevant, and should not be a factor.
Kevin V  Will this cable work to tether a Nikon D700 to a Macbook pro?
Crystal V  Hi Kevin, If I had to guess, my answer would be yes. It is USB on one end and the typical mini connector to the camera. I use a D600 with a MBPro, so that is why I can't be 100% certain. In your case, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, but to allay any concern, you could check with Nikon or a Nikon forum, or even your local camera store. Just print out the picture of the cable and take it with you. Enjoy your camera!
