The Think Tank DSLR Battery Holder 2 is a slim, collapsible, compact design that secures two standard size camera batteries. Stow them into any Think Tank Photo bag, skin or pouch and always be juiced up and ready, "before the moment." Cheap & handy but do not give protection
Like the AA battery holder, this pouch has the same problem as its sibling... it is not padded, so it barely protects your batteries in case you drop them. Also, the fit is EXTREMELY tight if you try to fit the batteries with the protective plastic cap.

I use it to carry batteries.
The holder is very sturdy and well sewn. The choice of materials doesn't amaze me and it feels quite plasticky. It gets the job done though and the holders are good size and will fit any battery (except perhaps unreasonably large ones). Considering you can buy an Adorama branded lens case with the same money I would say it could be cheaper but you won't cry over it anyway and it will do the job very well.
Storage for my Canon 5D Mark III batteries. Keeps them together - no more rummaging to find my batteries. each has their own sleeve. Safe, convenient light-weight storage
Good for carrying in a pocket.
The product works well if you don't use the battery cover. With the cover on, it is a very tight fit but you can do it.
I misread when I bought this that it had a belt clip, which is the reason I bought it. I just sewed on two strips of material to the back so I can use it on a belt. Not sure why you would need something to hold two batteries not on your belt, but if you do this is for you. But I absolutely think the belt straps should be included as they don't make it any bigger.
Great little accessory. Bought one to try out ... loved it ... bought two more. All my camera batteries stay in these holders unless they're charging or in the camera. Terminals are well protected and Velcro closure ensures batteries don't fall out in transport. Excellent for travel where covering lithium battery terminals is required. Light gray trim makes it easier to find in gear bags. No more (nearly invisible) plastic terminal caps to lose or pop off in transport. Yay! If it had a belt loop or clasp on the back, I'd give it 5 stars, as it would be nice to attach one (or two) to my camera (R) strap.
The battery holder arrived on time and it was in perfect condition. It was exactly as described on the Adorama Web site. It is a convenient way to store 1 or 2 DSLR batteries in a carrying case. For the largest batteries, the contacts cover will not fit into the holder. It is not padded and it will not prevent damage to the batteries if it is dropped on a hard surface. But that is not its function. The case simply has 2 compartments. They can hold any appropriately sized item, like a thumb drive. A caution is that small items slide out of the compartments easily. Keep the holder upright when removing items.
The battery holder is a simple little thing but I find it really useful. For the days when I just want to walk around with a camera, no bag, this lets me put the extra batteries in my pocket. When I do carry my camera bag, my batteries are not lost somewhere in a a pocket, rolling around. The main thing I find useful is that once a battery is spent, I place it with the charging electcrodes facing 'up' so that I know that battery has been used. The fully charged batteries go leads 'down'. The battery holder does what it says; it easily and comfortably holds two of my canon DSLR batteries, or it will hold two of my batteries for my Fuji X-pro1. Beyond that, it seems durable. What else? It's a battery holder, not much left to say.
Excellent for micro 4/3 camera size batteries. DSLR batteries may have a tight fit.
