The Tether Tools X Lock Connect takes the photography and film workflow to a new frontier with the patented Connect bracket.

Designed and manufactured by Tether Tools exclusively for the X Lock System, the Connect is the most versatile and durable iPad mounting solution available for photographers and cinematographers.

As new apps and software solutions develop to assist photographers in their art and increase workflow efficiency, the Connect makes these tools conveniently and easily accessible, in the studio or on location.

For the first time, the iPad easily mounts to any tripod, light stand, Master Clamp, arm, or other support attachments used in the photography or film industry.

Working in conjunction with the X Lock Case (sold separately), the Connect bracket has a locking mechanism on one side to securely connect the tablet. On the other end of the bracket, the Connect has all the versatility and functionality of the LAJO-4 ProBracket which seamlessly attaches to any 1/4"-20 tripod head, 3/8" tripod mount, 5/8" Pin for light stands and clamps and Arca-style connectivity for an Arca-style mounting system. The Rock Solid Aero Elbow (sold separately) is available for tilt adjustments when using a Junior or Baby lightstand or C-Stand.

Mounting the tablet is easy. Attach the Connect bracket to your stand of choice and position it where you'd like to mount your iPad. With the iPad in the X Lock Case (sold separately or in the Connect Kit), simply place the open X on the case over the X on the bracket. Rotate 45 degrees and with a simple click the tablet is locked in place and ready to use. Rotate 90 degrees to change orientation without removing the device from the bracket.
