Panoptic 19mm - Size, weight and performance make the 19mm an ideal mid power chioce. Ideal "soul-mate" to Bino Vue. Parfocal with 15mm and othersmaller plossls and Naglers.
With the Panoptic series, Tele Vue has taken the Wide-Field concept to Naglerlike performance levels - A meaningful advance over any eyepiece in its 68 degree field class.
Of course, multi-coatings, blackened lens edges, filter threads, rubber grip rings and exemplary construction are standard on all Panoptics. Little niceties such as a cover for the eyeguard, and an undercut in the barrel for extra locking security complete the package. A double identifying ring distinguishes all Panoptics in your eyepiece case.

Used with another 19mm TV Panoptic in a TV Binovue on a Q 3.5 to provide stunning, indeed almost overwhelming, Lunar views. Fields are flat and clear. Contrast at the limb is crisp and sudden. Views of craters in optimal libration are crisp and defined at all limbs. Eye relief is outstanding, and the field is flat even though the image is traveling through a lot of glass, including 3.5's Barlow. Adjustment for binocular 3d effect is smooth. Only problem is the viewer's old eyes and floaters that show up, of course, on bright objects.
