The Sekonic L-608 Super Zoom Master is the most advanced and latest handheld light-measuring instrument available in the photographic industry. It incorporates a parallax-free Zoom Spot finder with a digital display. A built-in retractable incident Lumisphere for standard or cosine corrected light readings, provides both hemispherical and narrow angle readings. The L-608 offers ambient and flash metering modes, flash/ambient analyzing and aperture priority memory capability. In all electronic flash measurements, an analyzing feature simultaneously evaluates both flash and ambient light and displays the values in three ways: a) combined readings of flash and ambient, b) percentage of flash in the total exposure and c) simultaneous display of flash, ambient and combined readings on the analog scale. An easy-to-read illuminated LCD panel directly displays 1/2 or 1/3-stop shutter speeds or apertures, and exposure/calibration and filter compensation of incident and reflected measurements. Selecting settings is quick and easy with the built-in Jog wheel. Along with features such as foot-candles and lux readings in addition to cine shutter speeds, the L-608 Super Zoom Master is the most versatile light meter in the industry.
The L-608 Sekonic Super Zoom Master incorporates the world's first optional internal Digital Radio Transmitter Module compatible with PocketWizard Digital Radio Receivers, which eliminates the need for an additional external transmitter at the meter's position.
