AMAZing bag

This is the perfect bag for me, there is nothing else like it. It works just as well as the 100 AW and 200 AW, so if u want to know how they work, read one of those reviews. this bag has great construction, the material seams invincibal. the amount of space in this bag is absolutely spectacular. Personally i shoot nikon, and in the instant access slot i fit my D80 and my 80-200 with room to spare. On the sides i could fit (just to give a vision of the amount of space) another 80-200 on each s...

On the sides i could fit (just to give a vision of the amount of space) another 80-200 on each side, or an 80-400. And the bag is so deep that I could fit another 80-200 ontop of each of those lenses. In the top pocket I could fit an umbrella and a small lunch, or even a tshirt and mesh shorts rolled up. The main compartment is easily customizeable with the 4 faces of velcro in the main compartment and 5 dividers. the rain cover really works, you just pull it over the bag. [...]

Works Great!

By

This pack goes just about everywhere with me. When loaded, it carries a Canon 50D with mounted 70-200MM f2.8L lens, 1.4X,2.0X and 28-135MM lens along with filters, spare battery, etc. It is light weight, well balanced and easy to carry for long distances. By not using the waist strap, the pack is easy to rotate to the front and use to brace/support the camera when shooting. I do this a lot when shooting birds and wildlife as I hand hold the camera.

Best travel bag ever

By

I don't know why more manufacturers don't make a sling bag. This is the best form factor of any bag I've seen. (I also own a 202 for street use.) I can fit three bodies and a good variety of lenses in this bag and access them, on the run. Unlike a backpack or shoulder bag, this bag swings from your back to your stomach allowing you to access whatever you want in the bag and then have both hands free immediately. It's very well constructed and has a lot of really helpful features. You can configure it to tightly hold and protect a really wide variety of gear and the hidden rain cover is a life saver. Best bag (along with the 202) I've ever owned. Hat's off to LowePro on this line of bags.

Plenty of room for pro D-SLR

By

Easily holds Canon 1DMIII, 5D, Speedlight, several lenses, etc. The single shoulder strap allows for easy access, and the wide hip belt takes the load off the shoulder.

Very versatile

By

I have been using this bag for almost a year now and haven't felt the need for a new one yet. This bag is very versatile and fits a lot of gear very comfortably. It currently holds the following gear: Canon 7D with grip and Tamron 28-75mm attached, two Canon 550ex flashes, two Vivitar 285hv flashes, two umbrella adaptors, Rosco gel packs and Lumiquest strap, 5 pocketWizards and a Shepard Polaris light meter. The pockets also accomodate spare batteries & chargers and synch cords. This bag is easy to carry and seems to be durable. It still looks new after nearly a year of heavy use outdoors.

BAg ok but not great

By

I bought this sling bag for photographing sporting events based on advertising on how easy it was to access equipment and how much room it has. I use 2 Cannon cameras w/ mounted lenses most times out working. I carry 2 Cannon flash units (430 & 580) as well as fliters, batteries, etc... If you want a sling bag for short hikes, sporting events where you will use 1 camera and not have much extra with you that you will need to change out often, then this bag is for you. I have another BACK PACK model which, though you need to put it down and unzip it to access extra items, is better suited to long hikes, and even events where you will need to carry more than one camera. Yes, you can access the main compartment when slung infront of your body, but a 2nd camera or having to change out a lens with your only camera will not be as easy as the company would have you believe. For me, it's a 3 star unit. The construction is solid, in principle it is a good idea, but the 2 straps for carrying it (using a back pack style) and the increased room for more gear outdoes this style bag. If you are on the fence about it, dont buy it. If you are looking for a 2nd bag for quick outings (like vacations, etc..) then it may be for you. I will stick with putting my back pack down to unload and the ability to carry more gear over this style.

Great for storing multiple lenses

By

I bought this because my friend recommended it. It had a lot of slots for my lenses and the padding was good. The only thing I don't like about this was the fact that it's pretty bulky and when you have all of your camera equipment in it, then it's heavy. With those things aside, I like it because there's enough pockets for my use and holds all 5 of my lenses. It's now used to store all of my lenses when I'm not using them but I don't carry this big thing around with me. Great backpack to store lenses!

Comfortable

By

Great for carrying and protecting gear. Comfortable and easily accessible. Don't fasten the waist belt and the pack easily swings to the front to be used to brace your arms and steady the camera. With ingenuity, you can clip tripod/monopod to the pack.

excellent bag if not overpacked

By

Works great to hold my DSLR with a 70-200mm lens attached plus a few other lenses and accessories. However, need to be careful about overpacking since this can get quite heavy and is not so comfortable with just the one shoulder strap. I usually switch to a regular photo backpack when I'm carrying lots of weight.

Very Versatile Bag!

By

use for my D300 plus 28-70 2.8 but will carry much longer lens on camera. Lots of additional cubby holes for flash, filters, lens, etc. Easy shoulder sling model for convenience while carrying.
