About this item

The DXA-8 Ultimate Adapter is a superb front end for DV camcorders. Low noise preamps provide gain for strong, crisp audio levels from virtually any microphone. The preamps boost audio levels in the camcorder to the "sweet spot" which improves the signal to noise ratio.

The no fuss limiters on each channel eliminate distortion caused by overly hot inputs for great sound every time. Easy to set up - only requires the adjustment of one gain control for each channel.

Limit indicating LED's ensure proper gain setting. Dual 48 volt phantompower for professional microphones. Ideal for DV camcorders that have manual audio controls such as the Sony VX2100, Canon GL2, etc.
