The DeckLink Optical Fiber from Blackmagic is an SD/HD broadcast video card that features 10-bit and optical-fiber SDI capture and playback. This solution is designed to eliminate the cost of optical-fiber editing. It includes an RS-422 deck control and reference input.

Other features include software-based down-conversion and packaged software utilities. This unit is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux machines. It is a PCI-Express, 1-lane card type that is compatible with 1, 4, 8 and 16 PCIe slots.
