Great mixer for a great price

I'm not a "sound snob" - I have been very happy with some great products from less prestigious brands. But when I saw a mixer at this price from a company with Mackie's reputation (um, that would be Mackie), I couldn't resist. It's quiet, sounds great, has great features. The mic preamps are definitely better sounding than the mixer I was using before. The effects are good - I like a clean mix so I haven't used them too much. It's got enough inputs for a small group. The USB output was automatically recognized by my windows AND my linux box. It's a nice feature, but it's only 16 bit/44.1kHz, and the recording volume is only adjustable in software. So it's great for catching a quick recording for archival purposes, but it is not a studio recording interface by a long shot. The high-z input sounded great with my guitar piezo pickup. I bought a factory refurbished one from Adorama for a great price, and it was in perfect condition (the refurbished model didn't include the recording software, but there are free alternatives).
