VariZoom VZ-CS5LK-Dual Camera Control System

The VariZoom VZ-CS5LK-Dual is a camera control package consisting of the VZ-CS-1 control station, VZ-MC50 motion control with extra head, 2 VZ-TFT7 7" LCD monitors and the VZ-Rock lens controller. When used together the system provides a remote capable of tackling both studio and broadcast applications.

The VZ-CS1 is a rigid, lightweight tabletop frame, designed to compliment the Varizoom pan/tilt control system. The control modules easily attach to the VZ-CS1 frame to allow for convenient control. The Varizoom monitor easily mounts to the top bar of the frame and can be tilted up or down for the operator's comfort. The Varizoom VZ-MC50 Pan and Tilt Head for camcorders up to 12 lbs. is a lightweight and extremely portable head, weighing only 8.25 lbs.

The MC50 head mounts to nearly any jib or tripod and can be integrated into permanent AV systems in studios or churches. The VZ-TFT-7 monitor serves two valuable purposes for the serious videographer. First, it functions as an external video display, allowing the shooter to step back from the camera while recording (no more bending over to peek through a tiny viewfinder). Combined with a tripod-mounted camera and a VariZoom lens controller, the VZ-TFT-7 emulates a 16:9 studio-style rig costing thousands of dollars.

Used on a hand-held camera, the VZ-TFT-7 enables the operator to walk around with ease while accurately framing shots. Additionally, the VZ-TFT-7 provides a highly compact and affordable alternative to bringing a conventional CRT video monitor into the field for video playback. Use the VZ-TFT-7 to review footage on an airplane or any other small space. Whether mounted on the camera using the optional swivel shoe mount (VZ-Shoe) or near the camera using the included stand, the monitor provides instant playback of footage for small groups. This monitor easily switches between 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio as well as helpful image orientation controls for DOF adapters.

The Varizoom VZ-Rock is a LANC camera controller featuring all the same functions as Varizoom's ever-popular Stealth-LX series controller, with some enhancements such as a pressure-sensitive side-to-side rocker switch. Broadcast level adjustment capability makes the Rock perfect for event coverage such as sporting events, concerts and weddings. Additional features include a power on/off toggle for "standby" mode, LED indicator and edit-search.
