Disappointed with the results

Item was on backorder so couldn't give it at Christmas time. When it finally arrived, manufacturer's packaging was creased/bent. When presented to the recipient, he opened it and noted that the surface finish looked like the item was worn/used/cleaned. Also, there seemed to be an excessive amount of oil/grease to lubricate the moving parts. The recipient complained he had to wash his hands each time he handled the tool. The silver lining was the return process, which I found to be easy and straightforward. Thank you for that.
