Questions about this item:

Kevin Bonnie S  How smooth is the pannining on this tripod?
EBEN S  IHO the panning & tilt is very smooth. That's the reason I bought this tripod. on the other hand, I've experienced some creep even when locked off.
Kevin Bonnie S  Does this pan left and right as well as up and down?
Kevin Bonnie S  How smooth is the pannining on this tripod?
Santindra S  Will this tripod easily carry a 7D with a canon 100-400L lens?
BARBARA M  Hi I have a 7D and I not only use the 100-400L lens with no problems. I also use it with a 300mm and extended attachment. You just have to make sure that the tripod is securely on the ground. I also always keep my camera strap around my neck, just in case. Accidents DO happen. Hope this helps
Santindra S  Thanks Barbara. I have purchased a Sherpa 600R instead of the Videomate 638/F as it is slightly lighter. do you mount the lens or the camera to the Tripod? Is the plate used, QB157? Sorry for bothering you. Are you on Facebook?
