Featuring a 30 mm tube, MRAD-based precision adjustments and an EBR-2C MRAD reticle in the first focal plane, the Vortex Optics Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP Riflescope delivers top-shelf high-powered performance.
The Viper PST is configured with a high-performance optical system. XD lens elements have been employed to ensure maximum resolution and contrast. The entire optical path is fully multicoated with Vortex Optics's anti-reflective XR coatings for optimum light transmission. Finally, the external lens surfaces have been treated with ArmorTek - an ultra-hard scratch-resistant coating that repels water, oil and salts.
This scope was built to thrive amidst the challenges of rugged field use and abuse. The rugged 30 mm tube is constructed from a single piece of lightweight yet durable aluminum. The tube's exterior is hard-coat anodized and then it is o-ring sealed and purged with argon gas to ensure a fog-resistant water-tight seal. The erector assembly has been thoughtfully designed, precision-built and meticulously set into place. Special care has been taken to reduce wear and tear while enhancing durability and repeatability.
XD Lens Elements
Extra-low dispersion (XD) glass increases resolution and color fidelity, resulting in crisp, sharp images.
XR Fully Multi-Coated
Proprietary coatings increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.
First Focal Plane Reticle
Scale of reticle remains in proportion to the zoomed image. Constant subtensions allow accurate holdover and ranging at all magnifications.
Protected between two layers of glass for optimum durability and reliability.
Provides precise aiming under low-light conditions.
Maximizes alignment for improved accuracy and optimum visual performance, as well as ensures strength and waterproofness.
Constructed from a solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and rigidity.
O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and debris from penetrating the riflescope for reliable performance in all environments.
Argon gas purging prevents internal fogging over a wide range of temperatures.
Rugged construction withstands recoil and impact.
Hard Anodized Finish
Highly durable low-glare matte finish helps camouflage the shooter's position.
Ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.
Exposed turrets provide fast, accurate and easily read elevation and windage adjustments.
Adjustment located on riflescope's left side and is easily accessible from shooting position. Provides optimal image focus and parallax removal.
CRS Zero Stop
Customizable Rotational Stop (CRS) aids in return to zero after dialing temporary elevation correction.
Precision-Force Spring System
Uses premium components in the erector-spring system to ensure maximum repeatability and ease of adjustment.
Precision-Glide Erector System
Uses premium components in the zoom lens mechanism to ensure smooth magnification changes under the harshest conditions.
MAG-View Fiber Optic
Provides a highly visible reference point for the magnification setting.
Fiber optic turret rotation indicator provides a highly visible and tactile point of reference for turret rotations. US Patent 7,937,879.
Fast Focus Eyepiece
Allows quick and easy reticle focusing.
