I wanted a TTL compatible flash for my FZ200 and didn't want to spend more than I did for the camera. The Vivitar name is trusted so I bought the DF383. I works pretty well and seems to communicate properly with the camera. Only complaint I have is that it won't work with NMIH rechargeable batteries. Just to check it out, neither will my old Vivitar 285. Must be a Vivitar thing. What's with that, Vivitar.
