Works as advertised

Installed battery, plugged it into camera (Nikon D5200)& it worked fine. Greater range than ML-3 remote. Only cons are it sticks straight out side of camera so care is needed to not damage it or camera and the receiver mounts in hot shoe so if you wish to use hot shoe you need to find another place to secure receiver.

It works and the Price is Right

By

At first I didn't understand the buttons (I know, read the instructions dummy)so I thought in dispair that this thing doesn't work. I synch'd the xmitter and receiver but probably didn't need to do that. When I had it all sorted the shutter clicked and it's been working ever since. I tossed the IR one that I had...this one is much better. Of course you have a receiver to mount on the camera (mine is a D90) but that hasn't been an issue for me.

Batttery Dies

By

from Asheville, NC  -  Semi-Professional

This unit seems to work just fine. Only problem is the battery that is supposed to last 3 years, died after one month w/ very little use. It is a very small 12V that is reputedly hard to find. I haven't started looking yet. However, not happy to have to do this after one use.
