The Vivitar LCD Digital Timer Shutter Release for Nikon D300S/D700 SLR Cameras allows you to capture incredible moments, without having to stay behind the camera. This multi-function remote provides an automatic timer function, allowing you to choose the delay, exposure time, interval and number of shots. The timer can be set anywhere from 1 second to 99 hours. The remote is designed so that you can use all of its functions at the same time.

The friendly, ergonomic design of the Vivitar LCD Digital Timer Shutter Release makes it simple and easy to use. It can even be operated with a single thumb. The large LCD panel may be illuminated for better viewing in various lighting conditions. The 3 foot cable removes your hands from the camera and prevents shaking. A two-stage release button lets you half press for auto-focus and fully press to release the camera shutter. The Vivitar LCD Digital Timer Shutter Release is perfect for time-lapse photos, shots in quick succession and HDR photography.

Excellent device to control timed shots

This is a hit it out of the park device. Does everything it says and the price was great. The Nikon pin plug is problematic if your hands are cold, but once this is installed it worked great.

CHARLES M  I use my digital timer as a cable release . I have not tried the timer because I have not had a reason to use it for time lapse photo
James P  can this be used with Nikon d5100?
PAUL A  Don't think so does d5100 have a ten pin connecor if not won't work
Shawn D  does this work with Nikon D3100?
JIM S  I don't know. I use a D700. Check the product specs online. It should tell you. There's on for Cannon and one for Nikon. Good luck.
