don't leave home without it

I never buy a lens without buying a UV filter. It's cheap insurance and it's something that just there and and can easily be forgotten; that's a good thing.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DAMIAN P  I bought this for my 85mm f/1.4 pro-optic lens.
Shopper  Can this filter work for nikon 18-200 zoom?
MARTIN F  According to Nikon it takes a 72mm filter, so it should fit - searched on Nikon's home site, but Adorama won't let me enter the url. Just go there and enter the lens and see what it says. I have no idea if it's the best choice - I got it for a Rokinon - same people as Vivitar - so I figured it would match well. Being a big filter, they get expensive. Certainly seems to work ok. I regard Uv filters as being there for protection, not optics, although I sure I could get an argument on that. I suppose it might be worth testing different ones on 52mm lens because they cost so much less than the big filers. Good luck!
