Great replacement for the old Vivitar 285HV

Since the flash is now discontinued this review is going to be very helpful because you can still find the flash used. When I purchase a used flash the first thing I do is to replace the sensor and make sure there is no corrosion inside. You will be surprised how good that flash is.

Not as Described

The product description on this product says it can be switched to 1/8th, 1/32nd, and 1/64th--but the product cannot do this. This is an exact copy of the original that comes on the Vivitar 285, and not a replacement with additional settings as the description leads you to believe.
