Nice workmanship but rather pricy.

Actually needed this SX Sphinx Mount to be an interface between a Vixen SXD2 Equitorial Mount and a fixed pier. So cut off the three legs, added a post (1/4"-20 bolt) for the azmiuth adjusting knobs, and mounted to the pier with three bolts. Wish Vixen had produced this at a lower price.

The table top stand is available for the SPHINX mount in place of the SX HAL110 tripod. The stand allows for use with smaller OTA's on any flat, stable surface. The stand weighs 3 lbs. (1.4kg.) and its legs are 18.5cm long (extended from the center).
