About WD WD TV Live Hub 1TB Network Media Player
The WD TV Live Hub Network Media Player from WD is a network device that connects to your HDTV. You'll be able to use it to stream movies, music and photos that are stored on your home computer over your network and display them on your TV. It features a wired Ethernet port and an optional Wi-Fi adapter is available. A 1TB hard drive is installed in the unit, allowing you to store files locally. You'll be able to view locally stored files even if your computer is powered down.
The WD TV Live can play all standard file types, ensuring that you'll be able to play your favorite music, photos and videos with ease. Netflix subscribers will be able to stream movies and TV shows from their Instant Queue and you also have the option of renting movies la carte from Blockbuster On Demand. The impressive feature set is rounded out by the ability to access many popular websites -- including Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. Dedicated web channels allow you to watch videos from CNN, NBC, MTV, ESPN and other networks.
