About WD Nomad Rugged Case
The WD Nomad Rugged Case is a tough, solid solution for holding and protecting your My Passport Hard Drive wherever you may take it. Compatible with only My Passport hard drives, the exterior of this case is made of a hard polycarbonate and the inside is made of a shock absorbing elastomeric cushion. In addition, the case closes with a heavy-duty latch and has a silicone lining to fully seal the case from any liquids.
With all of these safeguards, the case can withstand a drop of up to 7' or 2.53 m, 20 oz spills, as well as dust and dirt. With a carabiner-ready ring, you can attach the case to your bag and roam, worry-free. On the hike, on the bike, on the road trip, around town, or even at work, you have a case that'll protect your hard drive and its data.
