About WD WD Livewire Powerline AV Network Kit
The WD Livewire Powerline AV Network Kit from WD allows you to transmit network data over your home's electrical wiring. Perfect for homes where Wi-Fi is not an option because of dead spots, the kit includes two compact boxes. Each features four Ethernet ports and a wall plug. Simply plug one into your router and a wall outlet, and the other into a wall outlet in another room.
Devices plugged into either will be accessible via your network. The kit features HomePlug AV certification for compatibility with other HomePlug AV devices, and it supports data transfer speeds of up to 200Mbps -- greater than that of most Wi-Fi devices.
