After the warranty expired, but with very little use, the light stopped working. I contacted Westcott for support. The following was their response. ================================= "Thank you for your purchase and taking the time to email Westcott. There is not a fuse involved or anything that is user changeable as far as making the light work again. If you've already tried different bulbs then it must be something electrical within. Because it is beyond the warranty period, you might contact a local electrician in your area to see if it cannot be fixed. Sorry that I cannot offer any further assistance on this. Good luck with that policy!
Use: Within a soft box indoors, daylight balanced for outstanding lighting quality used for portraits.
This is a great peace of hardware that allows you to position and control your light. I use it for portraits and photographing newborns acting as a window light. As the review headline states, "Simply Fantastic." Very easy to set-up.
These lights are great, easy to set up, and easy to use. I love the TD6.
THE LIGHT LOOKS VERY NATURAL LIKE WINDOW LIGHT IT'S POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GET GOOD EXPOSURE AT f 5.6 at a 60th of a second.
Solid construction, good value for the money. The tilter is metel and holds.
wow this kit puts out some light! very easy to setup. very well-built quality construction. i'm impressed with the lights and the bag that it comes with is perfect and holds the boxed lights, the TD6 heads, the lightstands, and other gear like my tripod and other stuff. very cool bag. the only drawback is that i'm not very strong and this is a heavy wheeled bag to travel with. it's at least 75 pounds. so i might just keep this in the studio and not cart it around. lol
