We use these in medical environment EMR. Will scan both sides. Shipping was fast. cons- not very fast scanning large volumes but efficient for the price.

I probably have at least 8 of these in the office I manage and they work very well. I only use the Twain driver and not the included software package so I can't comment on that. It works great with our Medical EMR system. We only use it to scan in black and white text documents at 200 dpi and have never used them for color. I have very few problems with them, but some have had a white piece of mylar come loose that causes jamming. One was replaced under warranty and it was very easy to get that done, and the other was out of warranty and will need repalced soon. However, at this price you cna probalby buy 2 for the price of most others. One other thing to note is that to get reaplcement parts (roller and ADF pad) you have to buy an entire kit with cleaning supplies, 2 ADF pads and one roller. I would like to be able to buy individual parts like most other vendors allow.

This product was easy to setup, use and fast processing. I also have a Neat Receipt scanner and this scanner is so much better than the Neat scanner. I would recommend this product.

I bought this product to scan all of my office paperwork and go paper-free. When I tried to install the software, it was slow going and difficult and took lots of IT to fix the problem. Once installed, the quality was lackluster. I returned this product and bought the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500. It was more money but far superior!

We are a very busy group of medical facilities and we use several of these throughout our practices for scanning documents into our patients' electronic medical files. It is quick and very easy to use.
