Happily, my son-in-law the super techie set it up. The surround sound is great for TV and movies. The remote is easy to operate.
I own an Onkyo receiver which has issues and does not allow Netflix to be streamed in. This Yamaha receiver gladly accepts the Netflix signal and delivers great sound quality to boot.
Great sound system with booming bass and outstanding sound quality. The downsides of this device is its size and that it does not come with built in Wi-Fi. You need to purchase the external network adaptor to connect to internet radio, Pandora and receive hardware updates.
