Zacuto Indie Recoil Rig for All Cameras Including Mirrorless and DSLRs

The Zacuto Indie Recoil Rig is universal for all cameras including mirrorless and DSLRs. It includes Halfcage Rail and Recoil Handle for a sturdy top and side grip. This rig is perfect for those who already own the Zacuto EVF. This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a Recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder, which puts the camera behind you. This requires focus, monitoring and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.

VCT Universal
The baseplate has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with 1/4" 20 and 3/8" 16 screw option), removable, extendable 6.5" iris rods and rows of 1/4" 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. The recessed rod mounts offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.

QR Riser
The QR Riser raises your camera to a height compatible with matteboxes. Also provides a quick-release for your camera. Includes Gorilla Plate V2 and Gorilla Tripod Dock.

Zgrip Zwivel
It is a fully articulating handgrip. Attaches to a single 15mm rod with a swivel mount that can be set at multiple different angles for comfort and ease of use.

Halfcage Rail
It features solid, adjustable, universal cage structure for the side and top of your camera rig. Comes with 3" Z-rail for mounting on the side of the VCT Universal baseplate. The Half Cage Rail expands to fit over your camera and accessories and includes Z-Rail, 1/4" 20 screw and 15mm rod accessory attachment parts.

Recoil Handle
The Recoil Handle attaches to the Halfcage Rail with a quick release, ratcheting lever. The Recoil Handle can accept two coldshoe accessories and has a quick release 15mm rod port for an Axis Mini or articulating arm.
