Questions about this item:

Daniel K  isn't this just a handle? What does it adapt to? The male 1/4-20UNC thread goes into the recorder and the rest is a handle. Or does it do something else?
WILLIAM W  It enables you to put the recorder into a standard microphone clip, just as if the recorder were a microphone. This lets you use any microphone stand to hold the recorder; depending on the versatility of the mic stand, you can position the recorder just about anywhere you want on a performance stage.
Daniel K  Okay, I get it now! I thought I had to try to unscrew the bottom of the small tapered end to reveal some female threads but now I know that the tapered portion is similar to a microphone and slides into a mic holder. It is not shown being used so I had to try to understand without any description. Thanks!
