If you've been reading Adorama's tips series, you've been getting a lot of (hopefully) useful information. Now, it's time for you to get to work and apply these tips, because just reading about it isn't going to improve your photography. Getting out there with your camera and taking pictures will.
So here's our challenge to you: Always bring a camera with you. It can be a Digital SLR, a film SLR, or a compact digital camera. Take a picture every day. Even if the weather is terrible, you aren't in the mood, or are feeling uninspired, pick up your camera and shoot. Preferably, shoot more than one picture, but get at least one more shot onto your memory card.
Use the picture-taking ideas we've presented here, and put them into practice. You'll be surprised at the photographic possibilities that are out there, even if you don't change your daily routine (other than to add "taking a picture").
And who knows? You might even discover a picture-taking idea that you want to share with the world. If you do, and it's something we haven't written about before, let me know about it and if I like it, I may post it as a future "tip of the day."
I shot this one yesterday. How about you? Photo: Mason Resnick
