Just in time for Black Friday Adorama Green Friday, Adorama's AIRC Learning Center has posted its on-line Holiday Buying Guide 2008 to help customers make the best buying decisions for their needs. The Guide is a collection of over two dozen informative articles, reviews, and product roundups written by Adorama's veteran team of photography writers.

Articles include guides to professional, hobbyist and beginner-level digital SLR cameras, as well as guides to compact digital cameras. The guide to budget-priced digital cameras highlights specific models that offer outstanding images but only cost between $75 and $130.

"Whether you're looking for gifts for family or friends, or are a professional photographer who is interested in the state of the art imaging tools, or anyone in between, we have good evaluative information to help you make the best buying decision for your needs," notes AIRC Learning Center editor Mason Resnick. "Adorama believes the better informed our customers are, the better buyind decisions they will make and the more satisfied they will be with their purchases. The Buying Guide is a key part of our mission to educate our customers."

In addition to cameras and lenses, the guide includes lists of photo accessories for under $100, roundups of camera bags, studio lights and tripods, and reviews of an ecclectic mix of items including a 500mm mirror lens and a $75 35mm film scanner.
