Casio has just announced a major firmware and software update for the Exilim Pro EX-F1 digital camera. This is the groundbreaking camera, introduced early last year, which is capable of 60 frames-per-second high-resolution bursts as well as 1,200 fps in low-resolution video. Firmware Version 2.0 adds support for a new EX-F1 Controller, which lets you operate the F1 on a computer, via a USB cable. Functions will include interval recording, high-speed continuous shutter, and high-speed movie among others. The firmware also removes Russian language from display messages; only Windows Vista or XP are the recommended operating systems. Mac users, like Russian speakers, are left out in the cold.Download Casio EX-F1 Controller 1.0000 (which includes Firmware Version 2.0).
