Syl Arena's "Speedliters Intensive" workshops announced

Wireless, portable flash continues to pick up steam as a key new area of creativity for professional photographers, but for a newbie, is can be intimidating and frustrating. Master flash shooter Syl Arena will be criss-crossing the country this spring and summer running Speedlighter's Intensive to give Canon shooters first-hand, guided off-camera flash experience.

The courses are designed to take advantage of Canon's 580 and 430 Speedlites, which have built-in wireless communications. "With a handful of Speedlites, you can create light that rivals light produced by heavy studio packs," notes Arena. The seminar is designed for both beginners and professionals. No matter what level you are at, the course promises to "jump you to the next level" after the day-long Speedlighter's Intensive.
