iStock ripoff masters

istock may be ok for this guy who got in there eight years ago, but it is a TERRIBLE organization RIPPING OFF photogs and destroying the value of photo, video and audio. I've sold 7 downloads and have STILL not made the $100 minimum payment threshhold. In the past I would've made at least $50 per shot. These clowns pay under $2. They're an abomination. Meanwhile, istock acts like you need to give them only the best of the best, so get ready to waste a ton of time uploading for nothing. You'll make more money selling cards in a cardrack. PLUS, istock DOES NOT tell you where your photo is going, so you don't even get a tearsheet out of the deal. I'm done with stock photo. Video and web design pays an actual wage, and I won't be sending anything to the ripoff business that is istock.
