i'm not sure if mark did an episode on the other popular format dng, i may have saw it elsewhere, but if you haven't i'd like to see what mark's take on it.

All he is saying is he has taken the photos in B&W. jpeg will always BE B&W. If you don't like the way it turned out the RAW file of the picture was saved in color so you can make changes the way you want to. That is why alot of photographers take only RAW images. Why waste the space with a jpeg file.

Why would you compare color to black and white when you are trying to show how they are different !! You just mixed me up more ! Do I shoot color in Raw and B/W in JPEG ?

Me gustó mucho el símil de hornear una torta para explicar la reversibilidad del formato RAW. Hubiera sido aún mejor si hubiera tomado la segunda fotografía (el lago en Central Park) a color, tanto en formato RAW como en JPEG. Saludos y Felicidades
