Digital Photography 1 on 1

By Mark Wallace

December 20, 2010

This week Mark Wallace shows us how to use a slow shutter speed to get some really fun photos. By shooting at night with slow shutter speeds you can create interesting shapes with light.

Learn how to create fascinating effects by moving the camera or zooming your lens during exposure, or by shooting long exposures on a tripod with moving subjects.

Perfect

Using Marks techniques I was able to really make my house colors pop at night against the sky blue. Insane what simple thing can do. Keep up the great work.

Well done!

I have used some of these techniques, but never tried zooming while the shutter was open, or turning the camera. Nice video, and thanks for some new ideas!

Slow Shutter Magic

This is my 1st viewing of your Adorama TV video. I have had regular 35MM film cameras for years and would perform many different photo opp's I'm awaiting my Nikon D3000 tomorrow delivery. from Adorama This video with Mark was very Good! Thanks I'll be awaiting your next video from Mark. The Great think with DSLR is you don't mess up a lot of prints. delete what is bad and only print what you want.
