This week Mark will show us two great battery grips. The Flashpoint battery grips will hold up to two rechargeable battery packs or six AA batteries offering double length shooting time. It also has a vertical shutter release will make shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting in the horizontal.

Thanks for another great video, Mark. I have been using the Flashpoint battery grip on my Canon EOS 7D for about a year now and LOVE IT!!! It fits like a glove and is a perfect match to the camera. It is rock solid with no movement non-what-so-ever. No flexing when attached to a tripod. The controls are exactly like the camera so vertical photography is more comfortable and you can keep you arm down. This is a solid performer.

You should also mention the camera's original battery door you just took off the camera will store away neatly into a slot that is on the post that goes into the battery cavity in the camera so you don't loose it.

Great job as usual. Thank you Mark. I've been considering buying the Canon brand one for my 7d because I want hi-qual and very sturdy. Now I just need to know if the Flashpoint one is hi-qual n sturdy and comparable to the Canon one. Would Mark buy the Flashpoint over the Canon regardless of being half the cost. And are there any feature or benefit differences between them??
